An oval Italian Carrara marble relief plaque, a 19th century hand-carved marble manly portrait, depicting the lawyer Francesco Rossignoli president of the Court of Cassation of Casale married to Pansiotti Severina as written in red on the back with a dedication by Manlio Prof. Raulietti, the name is quite illegible.
Size: 58 cm h by 50 cm w. by 7 cm d.
These Italian Carrara marble bas relief plaque realized around 1870s in North Italy, may be hanged as wall decorations thanks to two iron rods in the back.
This very decorative Italian marble relief portrait would look great in any interior.
