A lovely Italian painting depicting Madonna Virgin with Child surrounded by Saint Joseph and an evening landscape with architectural elements.
Unknown artist after Baroque Italian Genoese school, it is a very good painting quality, this antique oil on canvas religious painting dates back to 18th century and comes from Liguria, Northern Italy. Liguria is an Italian area very closed to French border.

The wooden frame has a silver-leaf mecca gilding and ebonised finish.
This work comes from a Milanese private art collection.

The work is in good condition, canvas has been cleaned and varnished, it has been relined and it is on a new stretcher. Canvas size only measures 63 by 53 cm.
