19th Century Italian Rococo style Carved with Putti and Giltwood Mirror

An impressive rectangular Italian mirror richly decorated with a scrolling deep carving and gilding, hand-made in the late 19th century, adorned with Cherubs, vegetal leaves and flowers of Rococo inspiration.
Cembran pinewood frame and shaped cimasa are embellished with a deep carving, floral decorations, embellished with cherub heads, flanked by six winged putti masks, leaves and scrolls descending on the sides, supported by two angels, cornucopia with memento and crowns at the base.
The lateral carving is enriched by further putti heads within scrolls, while the lower part of this antique mirror is adorned with vegetal motifs. The frame has an horizontal structure, centered by a modern mirror measuring 40 cm x 60 cm.
The work comes from a private residence in Milan and it is in good condition, wear consistent with age and use, a minor missing leaf of the left lower part.
