20th Century Italian Art Nouveau Floral Green Foliate Chandelier
A floral Art Nouveau wrought iron lantern from Italy, with three vertical uprights decorated by shoots of polychrome red and amber flowers and leaves.
This hand-made iron chandelier has a great oxide green original painting, material is original of the period, thus shows normal signs of age and use, whereas glass bowl is surely later.
Good age related condition, dating back to early 20th century.
It comes from a Piedmontese palazzo, the Northern Italian region closed to French border.
Working wiring with one single Edison 27 light bulb.
Listed height is chandelier structure only, 47 inches – 110 cm and does not include any additional chain.
