1.600,00

Annibale De Lotto Italian Bronze Fisher boy Sculpture, feature a semi nude young boy figure, a standing fisher boy getting bit by a crab on his foot holding up his right leg, observing the crab bite.

Standing on an naturalistic basement with the crab, signed on the back De lotto, by the  Italian artist Annibale De Lotto (San Vito di Cadore 1877 – Venezia 1932). Marble basement.

Realized in the first half of 20th century after the model of the artist, there are no foundry marks,  it is in good age related condition and comes from a private  Milanese collection.

The dark brown patina of this almost naked figure is absolutely gorgeous and the cast sculpture is finely detailed and refined, with beautiful twist movement of the bust and great plasticity.
