An exclusive Italian Genoese walnut veneered and inlaid bureau with flap dating back to the first half of 18th century, waving front, three deep and large drawers and two convex smaller ones; a fall-front opening to reveal a fitted interior with compartments and one drawer.
It stands on bracket feet, sides are in solid walnut.
The veneer is placed obliquely, in a herringbone pattern, within jutting frames and makes this antique Italian bureau very elegant. It comes from a private house of Milan, it is in good age condition consistent with age and use, wood has a great patina enhanced by a shellac polishing.
