This watchmaker’s rounding-up tool, hand-operated machine for reducing out-of-round gears, changing the tooth form and depth of teeth, has been disassembled, cleaned and polished.
Driving wheel measuring 18 cm diameter, mounted on a polished walnut base, 26 cm x 16 cm x 6 cm height. Overall height 29 cm.
Brass and steel machine for wheel and pinion rounding up in good condition, of Continental origin, probably Switzerland or France, dating back to late 19th century.
