This stunning cherry four-door bookcase on cupboard dates back to mid-19th century, it is a two-part cabinet of Northern Italian, Lombard origin.
It comes from a private villa in Milan and it is in good age related condition, with minor signs of age, use and old restorations, see listed close-up details.

Drawers run well, working door,  locks and four keys as well.

This antique monumental Italian vitrine shows half columns with twisted and turned decorations, two internal shelves, solid cherry shows minor cracks and signs of wear and use. Interior in both parts is lined with old Varese paper, in used condition.

The lower deeper part is 103 cm high, has four drawers and four doors, in the large storage area there is just one internal shelf. It stands on turned feet.

The cherry has aged to a warm rich shade.

Maintenance:  once a year,  before heating starts, we would recommend to polish it with beewax.
