Pair of Italian Neoclassical Silver Candlesticks

Pair of 19th century Italian Neoclassic silver candlesticks, chiseled with geometrical motifs and acanthus leaves patterns. Hallmarked Milan, 1820 by Liverti Francesco silver maker, realized with a circular foot engraved with leaves and geometric edges.
On the bases they are hallmarked with the plow related to the silver title (800/000), the globe with the seven trionos related to the Guarantee Office of Milan from 1812 to 1872 and the silver maker mark relative to Francesco Liverti active in Milan until 1820.
Neoclassical motif on edge of base of each candlestick is repeated on bottom of the tapered column of each, under each candle cup. The base of each column is finely decorated with flowers and grape branches.
Minor wear near the candle cup of one item, see close up pictures. Wear consistent with use and 200 years age.
The two antique Italian candleholders come from the furnishings of an estate in Emilia Romagna, a rustic farmhouse in Parma. The candlesticks weigh 518 grams. Measures: Height 25 cm Diameter 11.5 cm.
