Pair of elegant patinated cast spelter female figures of draped classical maidens, figural table lamps modeled as elaborately coiffed and robed neoclassical maidens holding an amphora on the shoulders and garlands of flowers on the hairstyle.
Hand-sewn silk pleated shades are for imaging purpose only and measure 33 cm by 41 cm diameter.
Mounted on cast and mercury gilt bases, of French origin, this antique pair of table lamps with a superlative patinated bronze finish, date back to late 19th century, 1870 circa, Napoleon III period.
Good condition, working wiring for Italian standards, they come from a private house of Milan.
Very decorative and classical table-lamps 88 cm height including shades, figural bases only measure 63 cm high, without shades.
