Italian oil painting on panel depicting a Madonna with Child dating back to late 18th century. The panel is framed with a later carved wooden frame of early 1900, may be adapted. Lombard School, the Virgin is seated, the Child is sleeping. it comes from a private apartment of Milan and it is in good age related condition, with minor loss painting.

The work shows Mary seated, turned toward the Child, a pink velvet robe,
the Child, narrow, in a tender embrace. Madonna bowed his head toward his son, touching his head and creating a lovely and sweet atmosphere. In the background on the right, you can discover a dark Cherub face, inviting to silence, not to disturb sleeping Child.
